2010-11 Club Fees

Girls Travel Team: $1,800.00 - 6 month season - 2 hour practices
Price includes all gym fees, tournament fees, coach's salary, coach's hotel, equipment, SCVA registration, insurance, uniform package, and any administrative costs.

Girls Practice-Only (13's - 18's): $700.00 - 5 month season - 1.5 hours practices
Price includes all gym fees, coach's salary, equipment, insurance, uniform package, and any administrative costs.

Girls Practice-Only (12's): $650.00 - 5 month season - 1.5 hour practices
Price includes all gym fees, coach's salary, equipment, insurance, uniform package, and any administrative costs.

Boys Practice-Only (All): $275.00 - 3 month season - 1 hour practices
Price includes all gym fees, coach's salary, equipment, insurance, uniform package, and any administrative costs.

Program Highlights

• Gold Medal Squared certified Club
  
  • Gold Medal Squared is the collaborative effort of four of the most successful and experienced coaches in the history of volleyball in the United States. Dr. Carl McGown, Dr. Marv Dunphy, Dr. Doug Beal, and Jim McLaughlin bring over 100 years of combined experience, and have been at the top of the game at every level: High School, Club, Collegiate, Professional Foreign Leagues, and International competition.
    
    
• Consistent coaching philosophy
  
  • Coaches are given the necessary tools to teach the skills of volleyball to their players, to understand the tactics of the game, to make better use of limited time with their players, and to develop winning programs. This ensures a seamless transition for players as they grow and progress to each new level.
    
    
• Training Aids
  
  • All of our players will have access to the numerous training aids that we have to offer. Come take a swing on our new AcuSpike vertical jump and spike training machine. With increased reps, comes increase skills. Training aids can be an invaluable tool for players to reach the next level.
    
    
• Local Practices and Consistant Scheduling
  
  • We understand the impact that driving and scheduling can have on the decision to play. Local facility use allows for an easy commute and a more enjoyable experience. All of our practices are held at Griffin Sports Center, the official home of Cal Coast Volleyball Club. Griffin Sports Center (GSC) is a facility that is 100% geared towards volleyball and since it's our home, players and parents enjoy a consistent schedule throughout the season.
    
    
• Tournament Play
  
  

  Travel	Practice-Only
  Each travel team will benefit from a number of tournaments held mainly in the Los Angeles area. For more information on the SCVA tournament schedule, click here. Travel fees include entry in all Qualifier, Mandatory, and Regionals tournaments. 17's & 18's fees include entry in the Las Vegas Invitational. JO tournaments are an additional cost.	Teams will have the option of participating in local scrimmages between other Cal Coast teams as well as other club teams. Our 12/13/14 teams may have several optional tournaments in the Santa Barbara area. Subject to scheduling.

• Open Practices
  
  • Open Practices are held almost every Saturday at Griffin Sports Center. This is FREE to all Cal Coast VBC players during the club season. By attending open gyms, you can increase the amount of time you get to touch the ball by up to 50 percent!

  • Our website will be the central hub for all information about the club. Tournament results, team updates, practice calendars, and more will be posted on the site.
